will that turn on macrovision? i work at best buy and it just came to my sense that if you dont turn on the VCR macrovision shouldn't kick in......

before i bought my wega that's what i had to do. yes, you can have both the DVD and the VCR going into the RF modulator. Most have connections for both.

and no, it won't trigger macrovision, as long as you don't wire the video out from the DVD to the VCR's input.
