I am looking for people's opinions on which set-up dvd is better. I'm looking at either the Avia or Video Essentials disks. Also, where's the best place to get either of them.

Thanks in advance.

I personally think the Avia disk is more complete and offers more extensive testing than the Video Essentials disk. I purchased mine from buy.com using a coupon. I belive some B&M stores sell it - I saw a place for it at BestBuy the other day.

I use Avia. I've never tried VE but I've heard that it's a lot tougher to navigate through. Avia is very simple to use because it's designed for the beginner as well as the experienced user.

I was more impressed with Avia, but I got VE through 800.com for about half as much as I'd seen Avia for. Avia is not so much better that I would ignore price. VE is a little tricky to navigate, but I've been happy with the results I achieved with it.

Thanks for the advice everyone. I wasn't thrilled with the prices I saw for Avia but I did find a guy selling a new one at Half.com for a lot less.

I've never gone through 1/2.com before so I hope it's as good as the guy says.

Thanks again.
