I read from another post in this section that the RCA Yellow cable is basically the same as the digital coax cable. The digital coax cable is 75 ohm and high priced. I have a pair of RCA cables and the yellow video cable is marked RG59 like your regular tv cable. Would this be the same as a 75 ohm digital coax cable? would there be any difference between using this and digital coax cable?

They are indeed the same type of cable. Both are 75ohms. The only difference is the types of connectors on the ends of the cable. That RCA cable will work, but there may be some signal loss if the connectors are not of good quality. If the ends have gold connectors then keep the cable, if not just buy a cheap single RCA cable from radio shack with gold connectors.
