Anybody have a problem with their player not recognizing discs. Just started after months of perfect play...when I insert disk it apparently doesn't load...player keeps showing :insert disc". Any ideas?

Try a cleaning CD on it?

so no disc is recognized? or are some recognized. you can see if the manual has a section on rebooting the system. sometimes unplugging the unit for a 24 hour period will cause problems to go away at least pioneer would ask you to do this on laser disc players . which brand do you have? model number?
