ok, i have a pioneer DV525, a panasonic 27" tv, and a sherwood 9090R reciever. my problem is that occassionally when i am watching a dvd, there will be a yellowish spot in the top right corner of the screen. sometimes it will stay for a few minutes and sometimes it will go away rather quickly. my dvd player is less then a year old as is the tv so i am wondering if anyone has any thoughts on wherein the problems exists??? thanks in advance.

I blame the tv. http://talk.dvdtalk.com/ubb/smile.gif

Best solution to zero in on the culprit is to simply setup the DVD player on another TV and see if the problem persist.

Did you ever set a cordless drill or place another object with a magnet near that spot?

not that i know of. maybe my cordless phone, but that would be it. =(

Thats a small magnet in a phone speaker so I wouldn't think so.
