Re: Eight Reasons Why You Should Dump That LCD Television and Buy an HD Projector

My current room is too small for the screen I want. I'm gonna remodel the upstairs into a dedicated Home Theater and only use it for watching Blu-Rays. Currently at a $2,000 budget. Ah the joys of being single

What kind of HDMI cords do you guys use? I'm guessing with a PJ I'll need a higher quality cord?

Well, of course, that depends on what quality you have now. You will no doubt need a longer cord, monoprice.com is pretty worthwhile for quality + price. Keep in mind a 20' or longer cord is not going to be $5.

isn't SVGA equivalent to just 480p?

Prob 800x600. A friend just installed one. Wonderful for the price. If you can afford it, jump on the Panny or Epson $2000-2500 models, but if not, 100" is still more important than resolution.
