Cheap/Decent Blu-ray Player Recommendations

I'm starting to think of getting a new Blu-ray player since my old Samsung BD-P1500's slowness loading more recent movies is starting to bug me. Amazingly it still plays everything I have but I figure I could find a good deal for Black Friday or before Christmas.

Are most recent players decent now without worrying about compatibility? I don't really need any fancy features; don't care for 3D, so I don't need that. Wi-fi would be a nice to have in case I ever change my set up around, but i'm currently wired. Streaming video apps are also a nice to have, although I have my XBox for that currently. Again, just nice if I ever want to change my set up.

Should I just get something simple like a Sony BDP-S390 and be done? Anything particularly better from anything from Panasonic or Samsung?

I've always liked Panasonic's BD players over Sony or Samsung, but I'm not up on current model numbers.

Is there a Blu-Ray/TV combo available to use on my bedroom wall. Probably 15" or 20" size?

Googling, it looks like manufacturers released BD/TV combos around 2009-2010, but they apparently didn't sell well, as all I can find now are DVD/TV combos. With a 20" screen, I doubt you'd really notice a difference between DVD and BD.

If you really want a BD player with that TV, I'd suggest getting a wall mount that includes a shelf for a BD player. Or you could look into wireless HDMI, although I doubt you'd find that feature on a TV that small.
