buying a new dvd player with 'continous' video while ffwd x2
Hoi
Gonna buy me a new dvd player, my pioneer gave up after 5 years of intensive use.
I want to buy a good quality with enough display for the seconds and chapters
(I know cheap ones don't always have that)
and I also want to still have a good video while I'm fastforwarding x2
without an 'interrupting' or 'skipping' image because I use that a lot.
My philips dvd recorder can do that. I would be even nicer to get a player
who can fastforward WITH audio or video x3 or x4 without skipping.
Anybody knows what brands/types to look for?

A few years ago, I had a 5 disc Panasonic dvd player that would play sound while fast forwarding at least 1x. Don't remember the model number, though.

Panasonic, OK Anybody else?
@spottedf: x1 is actually the same as normal speed, at least in math. But some use x1 for double speed apparently.
