New tv time! Need some help...
Thanks in advance for any advice you guys can give.
It's been about 8 years since I bought my 55 inch RPT Mits, and although it still works great, I am getting the itch. I don't know if it's possible but I'd love to find a tv within these criteria: 60inch or bigger, passive 3d (wife has epilepsy, so no active for me), and around 2 grand, if possible.
So far, it looks like LG and Vizio are the only ones that make passive 3d that large. I saw an LG Infinia 65LW6500 65-Inch for 2,400 on Amazon...that seems to be the closest in LG's lineup. Vizio's appears to be close to 4 grand! Yikes! Although, to be fair, I believe the LG is last year's model...
Am I missing anything? Any tips, suggestions, comments, and jokes are welcome!
Cheers!

Probably means there aren't many of us considering any (yes, ANY) of the following:
Visio (see a recent thread)
65" TVs
Passive 3D
Personally, I would recommend ignoring the 3D and going for a cheaper set with a better pic. But that may be an unfairly biased viewpoint.

I've seen the LG 65LW6500 plenty of times, (I'm a HT installer), and yes, it's a great set. It's a last years model, but just barely. The 2012 LG's are just launching, so the price is falling on that set. I'm not a 3D fan myself, but the LG does a very good job, and I find the passive to e much easier on the eyes than active shutter.
I give a hearty recommendation!
