Since DirecTV customer serviced decided to lie to me: "Dish doesn't even offer Encore Hits West, Encore Love Stories, Encore Mystery, Encore Action, Encore True Stories, and Encore WAM." I have decided bye bye Directv, hello Dish Network.
Is the Echostar 4922 System a good model to get? I can get it for $45.
I was thinking of getting the 7222 model I believe it is. It has webtv and a personal tv record like replay. But, I didn't know if I in turn then would have to pay more a month and be forced to have WebTV since I got that receiver.
Has anyone had any experience ordering with http://www.thesatelliteguy.com/ ?
Many, many thanks!

The 4922 is a VERY GOOD receiver! It comes with a UHF remote(you can control the receiver from anywhere in the house) and it has the new OpenTV that gives you more functionality like instant info on programs. Also the 4922 has Digital Optical audio outputs as well for listening to Dolby Digital 5.1 audio on PPV and Starz and soon on Showtime!
The 7222 is the DISHPlayer and is another outstanding receiver! Yes, you will need to pay $9.99 a month for the Personal TV that lets you pause or record for 20+ hours. You can go without the Personal TV but I believe the pause feature is very limited in time (under 20 minutes) and you can't time record. You also only get a two day guide download instead of the full seven day guide when you subscribe to Personal TV. Also you are not required to get WebTV with the 7222 either. You also get the Optical Digital audio output on this receiver as well.
