I just bought my mom Pinoeer's 434 (not sure of the model #), but it was a progressive scan player for $299.00 at best buy. Any have this player. Did I make a good choice. It was between the Pioneer and the Toshiba 2200

Read the reviews at etown.com and audioreview.com. The overwhelming majority of people insist that this player is a POS and not a true progressive player.
