The laser reads from the inside of the disc out right??? I believe thats how laser disc players lasers read as well. Am I correct?

Do you mean underside? Yes. Whenever you read a label on a disc, the data for that "side" is actually the other side. With LD, this matters more often since they're almost all double sided.

If you actually mean "inside out", no. No optical disc shoots lasers out of itself. Uh, that I am aware of. I guess...prototypes and whatnot.

I think he meant that it starts reading from the center of the disc and moves outward (the opposite of a phonograph record, for instance).
