Does anyone use HDMI or gang wall plates?

I need to run three HDMI cables and the power cord from a mounted TV down towards the floor.

I'm thinking of getting either two 4 port HDMI wall plates or two gang plates. Gang plates would be a lot cheaper and eliminate the need for more HDMI cables, plus I could run the power cord through. Anyone here use either?

4 Port HDMI plates:

Also check at Home Depot/Lows. They have a couple of systems. Some with interchangeable connections in case you want different type connections in the same clean opening.

I use both. At the equipment I use a plug in. At my projector I use a "gang" type (basically a hole). I think there are pic's in my signature link.

Edit, in the pics on my link, on the wall plates to the left of the speaker one is just a hole. That is where I put component, S-video and composite wll plate.

When I upgraded to a HD projector, I added a wall plate for HDMI and switched to a gang (hole) for the projector.

Just as a note, it's generally recommended that you not run low-voltage cable (like HDMI) right next to A/C power cable for anything more than few inches. If possible, wherever they need to cross each other, they should be perpendicular.

The only place mine will be close is in and out of the plate. Wondering if I should shield them there? Anyone ever shield the entire power cable & if so, with what?

I'm actually installing a 6-hole keystone wall plate and installing 4 speaker jacks, 1 ethernet jack, and one HDMI jack.
