Question with velcro strips that come with my speaker stand..

I got my Belloggetti sp-200 yesterday. while assembling there were some velcro strips in the package. anyone know what that is for?

my guess is that its for holding the speaker wires. what does the manual say?

there is no manual. the speaker wires actually pass through the stand pole... i am guessing that it might be for securing the speaker on the stand but i dont know how that is done

basara318 is correct. As stated on their web site:

SP-200
SPEAKER STANDS
Velcro strips for mounting speakers.
Wire Management.
Spikes & leveling feet included.
Capacity up to 100 lbs.
Cable Management System (CMS) for hiding power cords and interconnect cables.

The Velcro is completely optional. If you want to use it; put a strip on the bottom of the speaker and a strip of the opposite sex in the same location on the top plate of the stand.

"smack in the head" i should have inspected the strips a bit closer before resorting to the web..ah technology dependence!!
