Long run of HDMI cable question

I need to run 35' of HDMI cable. Shopping around I see 22, 24, 26 gauge with 24 being the most popular. Is there an advantage to a 22 gauge over 24? The shielding is thicker on the 22 & this would not be in a wall but would run past some electrical wiring & a distance along side of speaker and cable wires.

The thicker the cable, the longer it can run without signal degredation. For 35', I'd probably recommend 24AWG or larger (larger wire, smaller AWG number). But 24 is probably plenty. Shielding shouldn't be an issue with HDMI, the regular shielding should be fine.

monoprice seems to be quite a bit more expensive than buy.com and amazon for 35 footers.

Researching these things shows a few differences so I went with the 35' 22AWG from Amazon. Best price and faster shipping. Thanks for the help!
