I've seen the sony 7700 player going for a little over $500 on the web. Is there any player that can even touch this one at this price?

I would have to say no....that is one hell of a price for that player. Where have you seen this for that price??

$550?? I went to mysimon and looks like the chepest price is $575. That seems to be about the best price on most of the other comparison sites as well.
