Best Buy - 47" LG w/ BR Player for $699
Hi guys. I need your advice. Best Buy is offering a LG 47" LCD (1080p) & an Internet-capable LG Blu-Ray player for $699.
Is LG a decent brand? I've always thought of Samsung and Panasonic as the solid, middle-of-the-road TV brands, with Sharp and Sony closer to the top. Where does LG sit?
I'll be using the TV exclusively to watch movies, mostly older, b/w ones. No TV at all (don't even have cable).
Here are the specs:
LG / 47" / 1080p / 60Hz / model #47LD450
LG Blu-Ray model #BD550
I can't post the link to the sale due to my "newbie" status.
The world of TV buying is quite daunting, so I appreciate any advice you can throw my way.
