My mom called.
We got the TV delivered. It does not go inside our doors, so it is sitting outside in our car port.

I am thinking about going home during lunch time to unpack it, and carry it inside.

Something to play with tonight...

cinemaphile7, I just received my XBR400 too! what a great set! Please let me know how you decide to calibrate it, as I have not done that yet. Enjoy it!

I received my set few days back. I can't explain how happy I was. But I had to wait till evening when my friends came over to help me take it out of box (it is 235 lbs.).

I just come back from home.
We broke down the box, and carried the set to the living room. Damn, this thing is heavy!!!

I'll start by assembling the TV stand and making all the video and audio connections before I put the TV on the stand.

Bob are there many ways to calibrate the TV?
(I was planning to use my video essentials.)
Anyway it looks like I'll be very busy (and happy) the next evenings.
I'll have plenty to do on labor day week-end!
