I finally found one through Sony to go with my 845 a/v receiver and just got through playing "lost World". Damn, the 5.1 sound is incredibly clear. Now, I can patiently wait for my DTS dvds of Jurassic Park and Lost World. Thanks to everyone in the past who tried helping me find the much elusive demodulator.
By the way, Sony sells it under part #MOD-RF-1 and the price was $120.00 plus tax and shipping. Total was $137.00 |
The surround, 5.1, and DTS sound on LDs is amazing. It really puts DVD to shame.

I think the DD and DTS sound on LDs is identical to that on DVDs.

I have found that Dolby Surround does sound better on LD than DVD. ------------------ <A HREF="http://www.dvd-o-rama.com"" TARGET=_blank>DVD-O-Rama.com</A> DVD Reviews..with an attitude Presented by Samuel L.
