I own a Panasonic A112 DVD Player that also reads VCDs, and all four anime VCDs which I recently bought are not supported. I'm relatively certain that the files are free from corruption - is it possible for VCDs to be region specific? Thanks ^_^

vcd's are region free. the only problem could be if they are encoded in PAL or another format other than NTSC. Some players can't handle the conversion. To be sure the discs aren't messed up, try playing them in your computer. Do a search for VCD Faq to find out how to do this.
