Samsung BD-C5500 firmware update w/o internet??
My buddy bought a Sammy Blu player but he doesn't have the internet at his house. He went to watch Avatar and it wouldn't play because he doesn't have any firmware updates. I told him I'd hook him up by putting it on a disc, but on the Sammy site I'm a bit confused on what/how to grab the update and burn it. Any help from someone that's done this before?
Thanks,
~Steve

It's easiest with a USB jump drive. Download the firmware update from Samsung's site, put it on the jump drive, start the player, then when you plug in the drive, it asks if you want to update the firmware.

Thanks Cartman. I saw it said "via USB" on their site...I forgot about the ol' jump drives.
