Hello,
I was admiring the photos of everyone's HT systems and liked the look of the "unscreened" front speakers. I immediately went home and took the screens off of my OLD JVC floor speakers and found that one of my 12" woofers had a huge tear in it. I was so pi*&%d.(I was wondering why the bass rattled a bit when I was watching it the other day) I went looking around for a replacement square-mount 12" woofer and was told that they are hard to come by. So, I ordered a pair of the JBL N38 series speakers for the front. Does anyone have these, and how do you like them? I'm sure they're much better than my JVCs ever were but I'm just curious to know what others think. Thanks! |
I have two pair of JBL speakers for listening to music ONLY. (Not connected to my Home theatre system.)
One of them the "Studio Monitor Pro" series. I love them. http://talk.dvdtalk.com/ubb/smile.gif Sorry. Don't know about the N28 series, but I am pretty sure it will be better than your old JVC. |
I'm sure you'll be very happy with your new speakers. I've got my entire speaker system made up of JBL units. I'm a big fan of DTS movies and also DTS CDs so my rear speakers are very important to me. I have a pair of older D-38 (decade series) as my rear speakers and they sound great. The newer N-38 (Northridge series) have a number of improvements that give even better proformance. Enjoy.

Thanks guys,
I'm glad I made a good decision. |
