Sony bd player bdp-s300 "cannot play disc" message...help!
Hello everybody--
I just upgraded to v5.20 of SONY's firmware off of their site after my STAR TREK BLU-RAY all of a sudden was receiving a "cannot play disc" message. I have watched this BLU-RAY of STAR TREK plenty of times w/ no problems so I don't know what is going on! Can anybody help me figure this out?? Any help is appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
--Dorfler
PS--In order to update the firmware, I downloaded the .exe file from SONY.com, ran it under Windows, burnt the resulting .iso file to a CD, insert the CD into the BDP-S300 and waited about 20 minutes.

BD can be difficult. I haven't dealt with a Sony, but I had similar issues with early firmware on my Panny. Couple times I just reinserted a disc and it would run. Guess that's not much help.
