Amazon.com has it for $99.99. They also have 19 customer reviews. Everyone seems to like it. I just ordered one for my budding entry-level apartment theatre. They've been having a hard time keeping it in stock.

I picked up the JBL DS-10 100 watt powered 10" sub for $99 from 6th Ave. Electronics. It is awesome for the price, a great started home theatre sub! My dad bought the same one because he liked the sound and ESPECIALLY the price!! I've never heard the KLH before, so I can't help you there. I have heard that they're speakers aren't too good though, but again, I don't know because I haven't heard them. Good luck with whatever you decide!

Thanks ECydeDave, Does 6th. Ave Elec. have a website? I have some reservations about getting the KLH. I know JBL makes a good speaker and I'm actually looking for something that *feels* comfortable around 30 hz. The reviews I read at Amazon said the crossover only goes down to 50 hz and with the volume up it starts to distort, but the KLH specs. say it can handle 30 hz (go figure) I'm not a audiophile, but I want something that has good built & sound quality. Does anyone know of a place where you can buy good used subs? thanks again.
