Digital Video Player / Media Center... help!

I'm looking to get some sort of digital video player or a home media center... basically I want it to be able to stream Netflix, watch Youtube/Hulu, play countless video formats, and be able to have external storage connected to it.

I like the Roku player but it only streams Netflix/Amazon and can't support external playbacks. I believe it's the only digital video player that does Netflix, right?

So, I could go the Media Center route and since it's just a computer, I can do all of those things, right? Any recommendations of media centers that are sort of ready to go in the box?

There's also the Xbox 360 Elite route, but at $299 I thought I could get something cheaper.

Help me!

thanks

HDI's Dune or the Popcorn Hour C-200 are what you are looking for. Eventually I will buy one of them, but cannot make up my mind.

Looks like the Popcorn Hour can't do Netflix and the HDI Dune, while it claims it can, is also $500. You could get two separate streamers for cheaper than that.

What do you think, JZ? is $500 worth it for the Dune?

ah... $349 isn't too bad cause I don't need blu-ray. Can you point me to some reviews/discussions of the Dune (ie: where you see they talk about bugginess, etc). Or other first hand reviews?

Appreciate your help!

Thanks!

I notice now that the Dune has Netflix listed as "future".. which to me means never, so that's kind of annoying.
