Recommend me some speaker wire!
 

Ok I know nothing about speaker wire and I just got a new 7.1 system but no wires for it. My old home theatre had them included so I'm not sure which kind to get. I'm looking to order from Monoprice if I can as well.
What is the best quality I can get and do they have any already cut to certain lengths? I don't really want to cut it myself if I can avoid it.
Any help is appreciated.

Well I do not know where you plan to run the cables but the least expensive 14 gauge would be fine. Cutting is easy, you don't need ends unless you want to make changes easier.

If you don't need inwall cable this would be fine

I got a 100 ft. spool of 14 gauge speaker wire at Lowe's, for about $25. It has worked great for years.

I bought my 14 gauge at Home Depot. They measure it and cut it to whatever length you want (priced by the foot). I want to say it was around $.26/foot when I bought it 6 or 7 years ago.
