Well I am in the market for some new surrounds and here is what I am lookin at

I like the JBL S26 series they are in my price range and they look and sound good.

I went into Best buy to hear some speaks and the sales clerk told me to use the JBL S38 for my surrounds...now they sound awsome but are big as a horse!

I have not baught any surrounds as my old setup came with cheap O surround speakers.

I guess what I am asking is how big is 2 big?

And it probalby depends on your receiver...

I've got the 38s as my rears but yes they are big. I'm a big DTS fan so I use large surrounds to get the most out of the fuller signal. I also play DTS CDs so it's a more matched sound. The 26s will do a great job as surrounds.

I'd like to get the S310's or S312's for my mains, but I'm worried about the surrounds. Are there any timbre matched surrounds that can be mounted on the wall?

I'm thinking about replacing all my speakers with JBL S-series speakers too. Looking at their website, it looks like the S26's are the smallest in the series. You probably can find something to mount them to your wall with, but you'll probably need something pretty sturdy, since they look pretty heavy.

Man, I love those S310's and S312 speakers.
