I am running my dvd player through the receiver along with all my other video components and I have a question. We are running video cable from the receiver to the tv and its pretty far away going through multiple cables (temporary thing I promise)and sometimes the video starts to brown out like it's not getting the signal. That would be because of the lenght of the cable and the fact that it's multiple cables right? I just want to make sure that it's not something wrong with the receiver.

I run all my S-video through the receiver and haven't noticed any problems, so it may be the length of your cable. If you are using really long runs you should use Monster cables.
