I plan on eventually upgrading my receiver to Dolby Digital with DTS. But, in the meantime, I want to buy DTS DVD's like Jaws and J.P.

Can I play the DTS DVD's?

They will all have at least a Dolby 2.0 surround option, so they will play on any DVD setup. Later when you upgrade you can use the DTS track. If you plan on upgrading then definitely get the DTS versions. The DTS version of Jurassic Park is almost a must have.
