I am in the market for a new TV, but will most likely wait until the end of the year to purchase it. I am looking for some recomendations on a 36' TV w/ component video. Any help on brand and model number would be great. I origianlly was going to go HD widescreen, but cheapest is around $3000. Thanks.

If you are interested in dishing around $2000 for your TV, then wait for the new Sony XBR400's. Here's an article off Sony's site that talks about the new VVegas coming out. It's enough to make you drool.

By the way, I called a Sony rep yesterday and they told me that they will be releasing these sets around Late July, early August. So if you can wait it bit, this TV will be worth the wait. The XBR is actually HD compatible and also has a line doubler, but just read the article. I'm so excited about these sets that I've saved the article on my HD and read it every day(psycho) :0
