Problem with My Audio Receiver
I recently moved my audio receiver from one shelf to another. When I hooked everything back up I noticed that the sound was a bit off. I checked the speaker wires and everything was working fine. When the audio became very echoing (like I was listening to it in a museum) I started fumbling around with the HDMI cords (the one from the cable box to the receiver and the one from the receiver to the TV) and I noticed it seemed to be the HDMI output. I thought it was the HDMI cable itself, but when I tried a different cable it still kept doing it. If I stand there and move it around while it's plugged in, I can get to the point where it is supposed to be at, but I have to stand there and hold it in place and apply pressure to it in order for it to work. When I tried my BD player also through the receiver all I get is the music but none of the dialogue.
My question is, what exactly is wrong and how can I fix this? |
