Looking for a 32" TV....suggestions?
Ok, I'm looking for a 32" TV for my bedroom. The current Best Buy deal (360/HDTV) has me intrigued, but after reading some reviews...people say Panasonic is not a good LCD (although reviews are positive).
Here is the Panasonic:

The other option was a Vizio from Dell. It seems cheap, but I've never been into "Off-brands", although Vizio seems to be respected lately. Plus, it's silver/white.

I'm also looking to get a 360, so that factors into the cost. I know Dell has a 15% off coupon, so the 360 would be around $250...making it the same price as the Best Buy deal ($600ish).
OR....I'm open to other suggestions. A Ps3 would work also....I wanted some kind of media player mainly.

Re: Looking for a 32" TV....suggestions?
I have a 32'' Vizio that I currently use as a PC monitor and it has been really good. It was videogames TV before I upgraded to a projector.
This TV is 1.5 years or something like that, there have been 2 new models already released. There's even one that's 1080p, the one I have is 720p.
OK, zero issues. zero. The picture is just fine, just what you'd expect from a $600 32'' LCD from 2 years ago. The same model is around $350 right now. Right now you can get better picture and more bells and whistle for $500 but I don't know how much you'll see in a bedroom tv.
I'm actually looking to upgrade to the Vizio 32'' 1080p, since I'm using it right now as a PC monitor I really miss the extra resolution I have in my other monitors.

Thanks for the Vizio mini-review. It is still inthe running. The only benefit with Best Buy is 0% for 18 months....lessens the blow each month on this...even though $600 is not that expensive for a TV/360.
Still not sure about the WHITE color though...seems odd. Matches the 360 though

In my opinion, the TCL32X1 (Panny) is a decent television and is a good $ to performance ratio. Overall PQ is decent and the sound is good for a 32". For $25-50 you should be able to get the LN32B460 (Samsung) or KDL32L5000 (Sony). Of course, depending on your viewing distance, it may be worth it to shell out a bit more for a 1080p model seeing how you're going to get a 360 or PS3. Check out the LN32B550. It may be worth the extra $150 especially if you plan on financing for 18 months.

Thanks....although, the package deal is what intrigues me. It is the Panny and 360 for $600. I suppose I could get the 360 from Dell for like $255ish, but that leaves me like $350-$400 to be in the same price range.
Although, I did like the look of the Samsung, the Sony styling seemed rather generic. But technically, I would be close to $300 more for the package...I asked Best Buy if they would substitute a different TV for the package also...no go.
Here is the pcakge I'm talking about: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage....rd113700050000

I wanted a 42" plasma, but the room/space we had could not support that desire so we went with a 32" LCD. I got the Vizio VO320E. Amazing TV for the price, in my opinion. I first ordered it from Dell for about $380 shipped. Problems with it being damaged and them not replacing it caused me to send it back and buy the same TV from my local Wal-mart for $398.
Very nice TV. Nice and bright with excellent, deep blacks. Looks very nice as well. Fairly small bezel, a little thicker at the bottom for the speakers. I saw a different 32" model at Wal-mart and it was really bulky and ugly with huge speakers at the bottom. I'm glad I went with this one. Plus, it is an "Eco" model so it uses less energy if that matters to you. Oh, and it is 720p, but to me that was fine for a 32".
Good luck with your search.
