Hi,
Anyone knows anything about this subwoofer.
I have the onkyo 507 and mirage speakers, probably will get the HSU but
this one looks pretty good for the price.

I am assuming you got the lil nano stats or omni stats or whatever stat Mirage calls it?

The Energy sub is what it is. An 8" sub. It won't get very low or be too quick.

If HSU is an option for you, get it. The Energy sub will sound like someone smacking their hand on their leg compared to the HSU. 2 different leagues.

The HSU sub will raise the entire level of your system...the Energy sub will just fit in to it.

The sub may be inexpensive but this would bother me

Frequency response: 33Hz - 150 Hz

Not very low for a primary sub in a home theater system. The STF2 from HSU will go to 25Hz and should be cleaner and louder at that frequency.

I'd go with the Hsu if possible.

I have the 10-inch tSc equivalent of Energy's ESW line for my secondary setup. I got it on sale for $99 shipped late last year.

Energy ESW-8 = tSc ASW-8
Energy ESW-10 = tSc ASW-10

If $150 is really the hard limit for your budget, I would suggest looking into the tSc 10-incher.
