I have a pair of Cerwin Vega speakers rated at 4 ohms currently connected to the front channels of my NAD T760. I also own a pair of Pioneer speakers rated at 6 ohms that I was planning on using for the rear channels and a CV center channel rated at 8 ohms. I have never hooked up these five speakers to the same receiver because the wattage levels are different depending on the impedence.

I was just wondering if hooking up speakers rated at 4, 6, and 8 ohms for front, rear, and center channels respectively do any damage to the receiver/amplifier?

Anyone else ever done this?

It shouldn't damage your reciever. It just means that there will be a larger db correction when you balance your speakers.
