HD DVD Player Issue with Regular DVD

This is only for one title (that I know of), but I wanted to watch "Three Men and a Baby" tonight and unfortunately after the FBI Warnings and the Touchstone Home Video logo, it won't load the menu. I put it into my regular DVD player and it'll load the menu fine.

Has anyone experienced this with other DVDs? Is it just the way the disc loads?

What model HD-DVD player? Have you updated the firmware?

Could just be your player trying to save you from watching that movie :D

Haha :p

It's the A2 and A3 (I tried it on both). Not a big deal since upgrading it to near high-def wouldn't made a difference with that crappy transfer (at times it looked like it was recorded off of a VHS tape).

Have you updated with the latest firmware? I doubt it will correct this issue, but worth a try.
