Yamaha - B stock and C stock units?

Has anyone ever purchased stereo equipment on ebay? I have been looking for a new Yamaha reciever and found allot of great deals on ebay. Typically $100.00 less then most stores.

Has anyone purchased B and C stock units? Are they ok?

Check this out, this is just one of many deals that I find. Would you trust them?

This is the concern I would have

If you get one with any defects please notify me and I will replace it for you, as long as they are in stock.
I am not convinced that the Yamaha Waranty would be in force if they are not an authorized dealer. I would contact Yamaha to be 100% sure.

It's just a joke picture from a Simpsons episode.

Personally, I wouldn't buy B stock from Ebay, because I want some form of warranty from B stock, same as A stock. Maybe from an Ebay Store that I was familiar with, I have bought camera equipment like that. But that was after gaining knowledge of the store, which is an actual store in CA somewhere. But never some random Ebayer, regardless of feedback.

There are good places to buy B stock, which should have decent pricing, some directly from the mfgr's website, other places like accessories4less.com.

Josh, I'm surprised at you. Trying to send some guy to AVS without any flak jacket or anything.
