Problem With My Plasma TV. Any Ideas??

Well, backstory goes...I've got a 42" Sanyo Plasma TV that was purchased as a gift from my Dad about a year ago or so. We've had it in our room and it does get regular use from video games and movies and such. Never had any problems with it at all except the HDMI sort of went out on it and then it just suddenly came back. Other than that, everything has been great.

The other day my son was watching a movie on it when it suddenly went off and just made sort of a clicking noise like it was trying to come on, but there was no picture and no sound either. We kept trying and kept trying. Fortunately my Dad bought a 2yr Service Warranty with it so I called them up to see what I could do and they have me hooked up with a repair shop who is coming to take a look at on Monday. The thing is, the next morning I went to turn it on, just to see what was up, and the darn thing came right on, worked great with no problem for about 2 hours, then did the same thing. So we left it off again, turned it on that evening and it worked for about 2 hrs again, then shut off. Again today, we did the same thing, after about an hour and a half, it shuts off and starts clicking like it's trying to come back on, but I get no picture or sound. I can see a little green light inside of it that is clicking on and off. The TV itself get's taken care off, dusted and cleaned on a regular basis.

I don't know what it could be and have been racking my brain over it. I'm guessing some kind of heating issue or something but I have no idea. I'm not any kind of TV Tech at all, I was just hoping someone here may have had the same problem and could let me in as to what to expect. I appreciate any help that anyone can give. Thanks.

My only suggestion would be to turn it on about two hours before the repair guy is supposed to get there so he can see firsthand what it's doing.
