So exactly what to do with the "clicking" on my Panny plasma again?

Ok, I was just speaking to my boss who bought a 58" Panny and the 50" and he told me today that it is clicking or popping..I explained to him that it is the metal expanding/contracting on the plastic or something like that... and that he has to call Panny and they will send a rep out to take care of it by installing like a $3 piece of hardware..

However, what is the best way to go about it...i don't have my documentation in front of me but is it just a simple technical support line issue...

On a side note, mine does that also, but its not a big deal to me.. but this is the second one he has had that is doing it, so id like to help him with it.....

I had the problem with my plasma that I bought back in May of 06. It went away on its own.

I haven't had any clicking issues with mine.

Although I have not had this issue with mine, it is well documented over at AVS forums.

The Panasonic tech will install a "felt kit" that is supposed to dampen or deaden the sound.
