Best way to anchor a flat panel to the wall?
I just had my new Panny Plasma delivered this morning. I'm overly paranoid it'll tip over on the TV stand (it's not practical for me to mount it on the wall).
The included brackets don't really inspire much confidence for anchoring it and I'm not sure they're even long enough. Anyone have any suggestions for a better alternative?
I don't have kids, just a dog, so maybe a I'm being way too paranoid?

I think you're too paranoid. If it's a stand that came with the set and your dog is spayed/neutered, you should be good to go. What's the stand on now? (i.e. floor, table, entertainment center....etc)

My black lab is fixed, but still superhyper.
My set-up is exactly like this:
There's at least 6-8 inches in every direction from the middle where it sits.

Are you worried about your tv stand? Or the legs for the tv itself?
If you are worried about the stand maybe get another one. As for the legs on the tv, I have my Panasonic Plasma sitting on a good stand and it is rock solid.
That looks good to me, I think you are just being overly concerned

I guess I'm really concerned about the legs on the wood stand from somebody bumping into it. I moved the stand before getting the TV and two of the legs broke off! I ordered replacement parts, but maybe getting some 4x4s for some additional support under it would be a good plan.
After dropping the cash on that stand and the TV, another couple hundred for a different stand isn't really in the budget right now.
