What cable do I get?
I just bought a Sony 46 inch LCD XBR4 model and now I need an HDMI cable. I looked on the monoprice site because I want to order from them but all the choices of HDMI cables has me confused. I only need a 6 foot one but which is best or does it really matter? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

The other cables tend to fit into one of two categories: in-wall installation, and HDMI v1.3.
I doubt there's many people who can actually take full advantage of v1.3 right now. So, yeah, that's all you need.

However, if your TV is equipped with HDMI v1.3 and you think you'll be connecting it to v1.3 devices in the future, you may want to spend the extra money and get a v1.3 cable: http://www.monoprice.com/products/pr...seq=1&format=2
Even at $21.20, it's a steal considering what stores charge for HDMI cables.

Ok great guys thanks for the info. I'm no longer confused.
One more quick question. Can anyone recommend a good component cable from the monoprice site?
Thanks!

Right here:

The cheaper cable is ok, but the connectors are cheesy.
