HDTV tuner: built-in or not?
I'm interested in getting an HDTV, and I see that some have HD tuners built-in. I'm not planning on getting digital cable- I would just like to receive over the air HD. If I get an HDTV without a built-in tuner, what are my options for getting an external tuner without a digital cable box?

Unless you're buying a monitor rather than a television, you can't really buy an HDTV without a built-in tuner these days. Every TV over 36" has been required by the FCC to include an ATSC tuner for a couple of years now.

I was curious because of the following deal on a 47" Westinghouse without tuner:

On a screen of this size, if you are sitting back 10+ feet, even a large number of dead pixels stuck in a red or blue position will be difficult to notice. Green is another matter.
