HELP :( My DLP TV doesn't work anymore
I just moved home and just tried to turn on my DLP tv and i get nothing
I only moved about 15 miles and had the tv between a couch and a matress on the moving truck.
Is this thing a goner? II've had it just over a year.
Is there an internal fuse or something? Any idea what it could be?
Its a Samsung DLP HDTV 56" HLR5667W

Do you get a flashing light on the front?
It is either a bad lamp, or bad power supply IMO. There will be costs involved in repairing I'm sure. I hope you have an extended warranty, but it doesn't sound like you do.

Solved the problem. The cord had come lose from the back of the TV. Didn't realise it was detachable from the TV, i thought it was like most other tvs where the cord is part of the tv itself.

If it's not too late, I'd suggest you check into and extended warranty for your set.
I have the Sammy 61 and 42 with ext warr for both of them. It's a little pricey but worth the cost should anything "freaky" but not so easily corrected happen again.
