Hitachi DVD firmware upgrade

Hi:

I'm using an Hitachi DVP 323U DVD player to play newly burned DVD+r DL disks. However, I'm having problems with these new disks (1st chapter wont play) and I was wondering if there is a firmware upgrade for this model.

Thaks all!

Yikes, wrong forum and it sounds piracy related.

Definitely wrong forum, but just because it relates to burned DVDs doesn't mean it's piracy-related. I have plenty of DVD-Rs of home videos and such. The OP's problems is that his/her DVD player has problems with a certain type of disc.

Welcome to DVDtalk

When you get a chance please take the time to look around and get a feel for the place. As mentioned this is the wrong forum for these types of questions. There is a specific h/w forum that I'll move this post to for you.

As also mentioned anything having to do w/ bootlegs (sharing info on how to create them, where to find them, trading them, etc) is HIGHLY frowned upon here. Assuming this is a legit question though, as Mr Salty talks about, I'll go ahead and move the thread. Just please be mindful of the rules.

thx
