What do you guys think of this TV Toshiba 26HF85?

I want to get this widescreen TV 26" Toshiba 26HF85

I do not have $$$ for LCD/Plasma and its only a 26" CRT and the quality is better than LCD/Plasma. I will get it when I will buy a house/condo

http://www.amazon.com/Toshiba-26HF85.../dp/B000816XK2

Does anyone have this?

Are you buying this used or from somewhere with NOS? This is the previous model of this unit. The present models, while having dual HDMI, suffer from incredibly soft and blooming picture.

26" is alot smaller than you think. I wouldn't consider using this as my primary display unit. And no, there are definitely LCD/Plasma units with better displays.

I am a ware that this TV is small esp its a widescreen. Perfect for my small living room

I know there are better LCD/Plasma but they tend to get much more expensive. The TV is $500 cnd thats why...

I had a 30hf85 and it was crap. Check this thread for a discussiond of this TV which is actually made by Orion. http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showthread.php?t=575786

Then it is New Old Stock (NOS). It just means they happen to have a previous model available for sale. Better snap it up quick if you want it, as it's probably the last one around. The new model has been out for several months now.

I'd be curious to know the dimensions of your living room.
