LCD/HDTV for bedroom (~20inch)

I ended up with a HR20 (directv HD DVR) in my bedroom but only have an old 19 or 20inch tube tv there. I would like to get a cheap LCD to replace it. I would prefer a widescreen and have it take advantage of the HD signal.
I saw the Olevia LT23HVX over at new egg for $379. (link here: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16889022001).
it only does 480p, which would be fine.
Would it be a better idea to buy this now and then upgrade in a few years or save up now and buy a better LCD tv in 3-6 months?

I'd save your money for an HD set. $379 is a lot of money for a non-HD tv.

i already ordered it. i have a HD set in the living room. this olevia will display 480p which i can set my Directv HDDVR to output. I couldnt really find a better simular tv that didnt cost twice as much.
