Haivng problem with dvd

Before I used to watch movies and it worked perfectly. Lately when I have been trying to play dvds and put it in video 1 there was no picture, but only sound came out. Can anyone help me?

Whoa - too much information!

Tell us more about your problem and I'm sure someone can help. Have you confirmed that the cables are connected tightly? Have you tried swapping cables to see if the video cable is busted? What kind of cable is it?

You've may have partially, or completely disconnect your video in cable on the TV monitor, or from the video out, of the DVD player. check all your video connections.
