Monster component cables DVD
 

Last weekend I picked up a set of Monster component cables for my DVD player. They were marked 'Clearance' at my local Wal-Mart. $9! I thought that brand was really expensive but they were marked down from $20. They measure 8 ft. How good a deal is this?

Are they worth $9.00 to you? That is the only thing that determines how good a deal it is.

It's a good deal. Monster products are usually quite overprices, but they are built pretty well. $9 for an 8 foot component cable is a good price, regardless of the brand.

Seems ok to me. I'm upgrading from S-Video and I have a 27" Sanyo TV. I figure I'd notice more of a difference but I probably need a better TV. It's the first time I've used component cables and I've seen them priced in the $40 - $50 range at BB.
