Problem with my HD-DVR.
 

i have an HR10-250 Directivo unit that i bought last august from directv. however, lately it has been having some recording issues. i will play the show i have recorded and it might start recording in the middle of the show or skip parts in the middle. it's not limited to any particular network as it strikes both my HD networks and my SD ones too.

any suggestions? thanks.

I suggest you call DTV.

This can happen when the signal drops out. Any chance your dish got misaligned slightly by a storm?

Any issues with watching live TV over an extended time?

i called DTV last night and they said to try and reset the HD but i have to finish watching a few shows because it will erase everything. if that doesn't work, then he said they will probably replace the unit as it's only 6 months old.
