Consumer Electronics coming to 'service' TV?

My parents just told me these cats are coming to service the TV tomorrow. They got the TV from Circuit City and they want it checked before the plan runs out. However I think these guys are going to do more bad than good. Moving around the TV and all the electronics around it is a big hassle. Theres tons of wires from the surround sound, tv, cable, vcr, etc, etc. I think theyre going to give me more work to do to redo everything for my parents like hooking shit up and everything.

Has anyone ever had to deal with this service? Any thoughs or warnings or am I just paranoid?

Besides the hassle, I don't see the problem. Better to catch a problem under warranty than after it runs out. Will they even need to open it up?

I had a Circus City warranty on my last TV- biggest mistake I ever made in my life. Their people are beyond incompetent. I won't even buy another big-ticket item from that store again.
