How do you access the service menu on a Sony KV34HS510?
I finally borrowed the Avia Guide to Home Theater DVD and I need to adjust the overscan on my set (Sony KV34HS510). I am having trouble finding instructions on accessing the service menu for this set. So does anyone know how to go about this and could help me out?
One thing though...the Avia disc is a 1.33:1 image so does it matter when adjusting a 16x9 screen. Does the overscan shown in the 1.33:1 image apply the same to a 16x9 screen?
Thank you very much for any help. It is greatly appreciated...

Sony generally uses the same codes for all TVs, or close. If you can find codes for a reasonably similar set, another HD direct-view CRT model, perhaps, you are probably set.
Vertically the overscan should be the same. And you might get the 16:9 mode in your player to stretch the image properly to do horizontal. Otherwise DVE is well under $20 and is more modern than Avia.
